This term we will continue to offer a selection of classes after school for the children in first, second and third class. Each class will be run by a member of staff in the school for 10 weeks and will take place between 2.20pm and 3.20pm. Each class will cost €20 for ten sessions We expect that all children who take part in these classes follow all the school rules and show the best possible behaviour.
Monday – Sport
Paula will run this class and the children will have the opportunity to take part in a number of different sports especially adapted to suit younger children. Cheques or cash payable to Paula Mc Gee.
Monday – Drama
This class will be given by one of our new teachers, Karen Davis who is a qualified Speech and Drama teacher. Cheques or cash payable to Karen Davis.
Tuesday – Homework Club
This club will be run by Paula and gives the children an opportunity to do their homework under the supervision of a teacher. Cheques or cash payable to Paula Mc Gee.
Wednesday – Art Class
This class will be run by Jenny. Materials etc will be supplied. Cheques or cash payable to Jenny Byrne
Thursday – Homework club
This club gives the children an opportunity to do their homework under the supervision of a teacher. The club will be run by either Elaine or Linda. Cheques or cash payable to Elaine Farnan.
Thursday – Music
Margaret will run this new club which will focus on all aspects of music from song singing to instruments, eg tin whistle. Cheques or cash payable to Margaret Faherty.
Arabic classes and Catholic religion classes are also available in the school. Please ask in the office for details. Classes will start the week beginning 17th January 2011.
