We have reorganised how all children will be collected while the building work is going on. Here are the new arrangements:
We ask all parents to:
- Collect their child on time
- Walk or cycle to and from school if at all possible
- Leave the school as quickly as possible to avoid traffic disruption and so we can use the ball courts for PE and other sports activities.
- On Mondays only half the ball court will be available for Parking at 2.20pm because Paula will be using the other half for sports club .
- 1. Junior Infants will be collected as normal.
- 2. Senior Infants will be walked out of the new door which will be built and lined up where they will be collected. We ask that all parents are patient and allow the teacher time to make sure that each child is safely in the hands of their collector.
- 3. First Class will be collected from the same exit now. They will be walked out of the school and lined up in two lines as shown in the diagram. They will then be dismissed individually by their teacher.
- 4. Second class will be collected from the front of the school to the right of the main door. We ask that all parents keep the main door free so the children can walk out.
- 5. Third Class can be collected at the front of the school as shown on the diagram. We ask that all the children walking home on their own use the lollipop lady when crossing the road.
Extra curricular Activities
Monday: Sport – children to be collected from the top ball court.
Drama – Children to be collected from the main entrance
Tuesday: Homework Club – collected at side entrance
Arabic – Collected at the side entrance
Wednesday: Art Class – Jenny’s group from the main entrance and Orlagh’s group from the side entrance.
Catholic Religion Class – children collected from the side entrance.
Thursday: Music Class – children to be collected from the main entrance.
Homework Club – children to be collected from the side entrance.
