Spain Class – Senior Infants
Spain Class has been learning lots of new things and having lots of fun since starting Senior Infants. Our classroom is starting to look really colourful with displays of our artwork & writing!
Spain Class had great fun on Book Day. Everyone dressed up and the costumes were just fabulous! Have a look at a few of the photos!
We learned all about People Who Help Us.
We learned about things that happen during autumn and using clay, we moulded hedgehogs. This was great fun!
We learned all about the artist Miro and painted our own Miro inspired artwork.
We have read and listened to many stories so far this year such as Farmer Duck, Pig in the Pond, Room on the Broom & Peace at Last. We made a patchwork blanket for the bears in Peace at Last by printing patterns on paper and displaying them on the classroom wall. The display looks fabulous!
Spain class loves counting! We play lots of maths games and in pairs we often mix up number cards and put them back in the correct order. We try our best to do it as quickly as we can…this is great fun!
Spain Class is super at drama and we have lots of fun pretending. We had great fun in one particular lesson when a clown paid a visit to the class…
